ToolPath.dll is a dynamic link library written in C++. ToolPath.dll provides several functions to solve the problem of calculation of the movement of the tool centre point starting from a geometric figure that you want to wrap around or empty. The geometric figure is represented by a open or closed polyline. It can be expressed in different formats; a dxf file, a text file with XYZ coordinates or, if you want to work in memory space, an array of units. The library is provided as 32 bit or 64 bit Unicode. The installation procedure can charge on your computer some free plug-ins for CAD programs. How proprietary software, the ToolPath.dll library is open to any customization. Radius compensation path with change in depth. The function creates, to the left or to the right side of the input polyline, the tool radius compensation path. The final depth of the output path can be achieved in one or more movements. Inputs and outputs with a configurable speed can be added to the final path. Radius compensation path with approch on plane. The function creates, to the left or to the right side of the input polyline, the tool radius compensation path. The path can be constructed by a variable number of approaching movements in the plane of the input polyline. Inputs and outputs with a configurable speed can be added to the final path. Path area emptying with inner islands. The function creates, from a input closed polyline, the tool center point path that empties the area inscribed in the polyline. The final route includes a boundary movement and internal routes with three possible ways; linear, zigzag or concentric. In the area you can insert islands that are respected and not emptied. Inputs and outputs with a configurable speed can be added to the final path. Convert spline to polyline with tangent arcs. The function creates, from a spline, a polyline that traces the same profile. The polyline consists of a sequence of tangent arcs and lines.
